A US Aircraft Carrier was sailing off the coast of England, when it received a panicked message on the radio
"Naval Vessel, we urge that you change course immediately!!"
The Captain smugly replied
"This is Captain James of the U.S.S Excelsior, unable to comply to your request"
"Captain James, I seriously urge that you reconsider or you may suffer the consequences dramatically"
"This is the U.S.S Excelsior, the flagship of the US Navy. We have over 1500 crew members and over 50 high powered aircraft on board and I am not afraid of using them under any threat of danger, and we do not alter course for anybody! Alter your course!!" the captain sat back in his chair looking deeply impresed by his authoritative aura.
"Captain James, we are unable to alter our course. This is a lighthouse!" |
